EFC's Mission Statement
FOR THE KIDS!
Eagles for Children is a simple, fun, and engaging program that unites your club for a common cause. We use the game of golf and one great moment in golf, “when you score an eagle,” to benefit disadvantaged children.
How it Works
Eagles for Children is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting local charities helping disadvantaged youth through partnerships with golf clubs. Members of participating clubs pledge a nominal amount for every eagle scored on their course during the season. 100% of the proceeds from eagles go to organizations serving children in the members’ community selected by the participating club. Eagles for Children is a simple, fun, and engaging program that unites your club for a common cause... THE KIDS!
Western Members alone have donated $435,049.23 to local children's charities since joining EFC 2013!

WGCC is an active contributor and supporter of the Western Golf Association/Chick Evans Scholarship Foundation. Through this foundation, caddies demonstrating high academic performance, good citizenship as well as a good caddy record are eligible to receive four year scholarships at the University of Michigan or Michigan State University.
WGA's Evans Scholars Foundation Mission Statement
The Western Golf Association conducts championships for professional and amateur golfers, promotes the use of youth caddies and supports the Evans Scholars Foundation's efforts to award full tuition and housing college scholarships to high-achieving caddies with limited financial means.
WGCC has a long history of maintaining a strong Caddie Program with 100 Evans Scholars since 1960.
